I believe weddings are about people. People interacting with each other – even if it’s just the two of you. Of course they are also about love, laughter, food, drink, dresses, flowers etc., but these still revolve around the people and influence their interactions.
While my purpose is simple, a specific approach to photography takes more thought and care than one-size-fits-all, cover-all-your-bases photography. Deciding on this approach is a gamble, a gamble that you want a photographer who has an opinion, who stands for something.
Luckily I seem to attract couples who agree and want this hands-off but observant approach – a wedding well-watched and recorded, but not interfered with or dominated by organisation and masses of groups.
I also stand for physical products as well as the latest technology. I grew up with film but was educated digitally (maybe in the first wave). Prints and albums work with digital files, not against. Trust me, you want both.
To that end, everything you see will be printed and digital files will be delivered via the web.
