I could tell you how I began taking pictures as a kid with a Kodak Instamatic complete with flash ‘cube’, and kept getting my fingers in the way of the lens.
I could tell you how I struggled with an SLR that I inherited from my Dad and which was second hand and broken when he got it.
I could tell you I studied Digital Image Processing long before anyone outside a lab had thought about a digital camera.
But none of that matters. It’s all true, but it doesn’t matter.
What mattered was when a friend at a party said, “You’re an observer aren't you?”
What he didn’t say was, “Ever tried being a photographer?”, but I worked that out for myself…eventually.
I like people and I like it when people have fun.
I’ve never been to a wedding that wasn’t fun. Can I come to yours?
